Partnership with Children is looking for a Development and Communications Associate to join our growing development team. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Development and Communications Associate will perform critical administrative, fundraising, and operational support tasks to facilitate the continuous function of a dynamic, fast-paced fundraising department, while also engaging PWC’s communities and amplifying stories of impact across social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Fundraising/Administrative Support:
Assist fundraising staff with compiling supporting materials for funding proposals, reports, contracts, and other submissions as assigned
Work with staff and consultants to provide support for fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship events, including tasks related to planning and logistics, as well as event facilitation and follow-up
Manage departmental administrative duties, including scheduling and logistics of meetings for Chief Development Officer and other fundraising staff
Prepare meeting materials and attend meetings to provide administrative support, as requested
Work with Chief Development Officer and other executive leadership to prepare Board/committee materials; coordinate and provide support for Board/committee meetings
Gift Processing /Data Entry
Track and process all contributions (credit card, check, wire and/or stock transfer, and in-kind)
Generate acknowledgment letters in a timely manner
Work with Development Manager to support the accuracy, integrity and security of the donor database by maintaining donor data (contact and demographic information, giving history, relationships, campaigns, funds, event participation, volunteerism, and communication); Ensure data is current and consistent
Maintain development department filing systems
Social Media/Communications
Manage all PWC social media accounts
In partnership develop and implement a social media content strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and that increases our online presence via timely and engaging posts
Maintain PWC website and perform timely/relevant updates
Gather research, analyze industry trends, and measure impact to inform communications strategies in partnership with the Director of Communication
Oversee execution of all mailings, including direct mail and e-mail campaigns

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; 1-2 years of experience working on a development team in a comparably-sized nonprofit preferred
Design skills and experience including layout and design software systems (i.e., Adobe In-design, Canva, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Salesforce or similar fundraising CRM
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized and efficient worker, with excellent, follow through
Analytical thinker and rapid problem solver
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $55,000-$60,000 commensurate to credentials and experience. All full-time employees receive an excellent benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan with employer match, life insurance, Flexible spending Account/FSA, Commuter benefits, and twenty-four days paid annual leave per year, plus four Summer Fridays and 12 other paid holidays.
